How does it work, exactly?

Capsul Jewelry designers first create a 3D CAD drawing of each piece of jewellery. Next, a bio-degradable mold is 3D printed. This step includes engraving, which is incredibly accurate compared to the traditional way of engraving jewellery. Lastly, the jewellery is cast, plated (depending on the piece), and polished.

Imagine that -- you can literally have the sound wave of a voice put on a piece of jewellery. Amazing!

Eleven Years Later...

Hi Everyone,

Sunday, August 4th marked 11 years since this blog got started. Hard to believe it's been that long and how much things have changed. For those of you who still stop by to see what's new, you've surely noticed that JB hasn't made an appearance in a very long time. She still has all the crazy stories, just no time to sit down and share. It's a shame because I know you'd love them. You can't make this sh*t up, believe me.

Anyway... if you're still reading, then I guess you must be interested in what I have to share, otherwise you would have been long gone by now. I might not be able to entertain you with stories like JB, but I do share some good shopping deals and food for thought whenever I can.

Food for Thought: Priority vs Option

Hi Everyone,

I'm sharing some food for though today that I think is very powerful. I don't know about all of you, but the older I get, the less patience I have for people who see nothing wrong with coming around only when they need something... when it suits them... when they have no one else. In fact, I consciously make a point of staying away from people who treat me this way, and that is why the following quote by Mark Twain really struck a chord with me.

Why should I go out of my way to be there for people, to do things for people, who treat me like an option? Nope, I'm done with that crap!

Relationships are about give and take, so don't do all the giving, and don't do all the taking.

I deserve better, just as you deserve better if you often find yourself in the "option" position of a relationship. Stick with people who also take time out to make you a "priority" because they will be there for you through the good, the bad, the whatever, just as you will be there for them. They won't only come around when they have no other option.
